Rustic Wedding Box Terms & Conditions - Terms of Hire

 

Please read our terms and conditions below. By paying a deposit for services you are legally agreeing to our terms & conditions. 

 

DECOR HIRE

 

All props, garden games, equipment and decor remains the property of Rustic Wedding Box

 

During the period of hire, The Hirer shall be solely responsible for the hired goods and insuring the goods. The contract for the hire of goods is between Rustic Wedding Box and the Hirer, not the venue unless goods are being hired directly by the venue. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the venue is clearly instructed so that the terms and conditions are met. Rustic Wedding Box will charge the Hirer for any costs due to terms and conditions being broken. It is then the responsibility of the Hirer to reclaim any of these costs from the venue if the venue was at fault. It is therefore the hirers responsibility to liaise with the venue with regards to access & collection times.

 

GARDEN GAMES

Rustic Wedding Box will set up and collect the Garden Games. The Hirer is responsible for letting Rustic Wedding Box know the set up location. If one is not given, an appropriate location will be chosen on your behalf. Rustic Wedding Box reserves the right to change/replace games from the time of booking to the time of hire. Where bookings are made 1+ year in advance, our packages may change in appearance of content. The Hirer will be entitled to the equivalent hire (i.e. number and type of games, along with decor) but the exact product may be different due to innovation, replacement or other.

LIABILITY

 

Rustic Wedding Box shall not be responsible for injury or damage to persons or property howsoever sustained arising from our goods under hire. 

 

DELIVERY CHARGES

 

Delivery charges are applicable for all decor hire and will quoted following submission of a decor enquiry relative to the location of your venue or delivery address. Where a van is required, our standard delivery charge is £15 for each journey required, therefore delivery + collection would be a minimum of £30. Mileage is charged in addition to this at £1.00 per mile to account for our drivers return trip and is applicable for both the delivery journey and the collection journey. Where a van is not required, we would just charge mileage costs.

 

Delivery charges are subject to change if the Hirer changes their order and quantities of hire products which could cause alternative delivery vehicles to be required.

 

DELIVERY & COLLECTION

 

A delivery and collection date and time will be agreed with Rustic Wedding Box and the Hirer. The Hirer must specify where the items are to be delivered, and who these should be handed over to for safekeeping, if the Hirer is not requiring Rustic Wedding Box to set up and style the decor/props. 

 

All items should be gathered up and packed away in one location for collection by Rustic Wedding Box. If items are not gathered up by the Hirer ready for collection at the agreed time, charges may be taken from the security deposit to account for the time spent gathering and packing away any equipment

 

CUSTOMER COLLECTION & RETURN

 

The Hirer is able to collect and return items directly to Rustic Wedding Box subject to prior agreement. All items must be collected at a time agreed with Rustic Wedding Box and the Hirer. All items need to be securely transported. Any damage or breakages to items during transit will be chargeable to the Hirer and the Hirer should ensure they have appropriate insurance.

 

HIRE PERIOD

 

Our standard hire period is a maximum of 3 days, including the delivery and collection day (i.e. Friday - Sunday). Any items that were not able to be collected by Rustic Wedding Box or returned by the Hirer by end of the hire period will be subject to additional charges

 

Customers are responsible for the safe keeping of all equipment, including boxes and cartons from time of delivery until it is returned or collected by us. All items should be stored securely and safely indoors, with no equipment left out overnight. Packing boxes should also be kept safe if left with the Hirer will be charged at replacement cost if lost.

 

STYLING

 

A styling and set up service is not included in your hire costs ,with the exception of Garden Games packages. All items will be delivered to your venue and left for you to set up. A styling and set up service can be offered at an additional cost, please ask Rustic Wedding Box for further details and you will be provided with a quote.

 

HIRE DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

 

Bookings are secured once a deposit has been paid. This deposit is non-refundable. Once the deposit has been paid, this is taken as confirmation of a booking and these Terms & Conditions thereafter apply.

 

The remaining balance must be paid and cleared 8 weeks prior to the hire period commencing. If full payment is not received and cleared 8 weeks prior to the event, Rustic Wedding Box will endeavour to contact the Hirer, but will otherwise presume that the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled and deposit forfeited.

 

SECURITY DEPOSIT

 

A refundable security deposit of £50, £100, £150 or other price as set by Rustic Wedding Box will be required for all bookings and will be quoted when you receive your personalised decor hire quote. The Security Deposit is payable in addition to the hire charges, and is to cover the cost of any damages, breakages, losses, or cleaning charges. The Security Deposit, minus any costs for damages etc described above, will be returned to the Hirer within 14 days of the hire date, along with a receipt where necessary for damages.

 

CLEANING

 

We expect that items are returned to us as they have been delivered. All glassware should be clean, and free of any debris or candle wax. Any glassware that requires cleaning will be subject to charges. Cotton napkins should also be clean and washed prior to their return. Any heavily soiled or damaged napkins will be charged at the replacement cost per item. If you would like Rustic Wedding Box to manage the cleaning of napkins, a quote for this will be provided at the time of enquiry.

 

CANCELLATION

 

All Hirers have a 14 day cooling off period following confirmation of your Decor Hire Order, which starts on the date of issue of your order confirmation which you will receive via email. In that time you are able to cancel your booking should you change your mind, and any deposit or other costs refunded, minus a £25 administration charge to cover our costs.

 

Any cancellations received after the 14 day cooling off period will be subject to the terms below.

If you cancel your booking 57+ days (8+ weeks) in advance of your hire date, we will retain the non refundable deposit. For all bookings cancelled between 28-56 days (4-8 weeks) prior to the hire period, Rustic Wedding Box will charge the Hirer 50% of the total hire costs. For all bookings cancelled between 0-27 days (0-4 weeks) prior to the hire period, Rustic Wedding Box reserves the right to charge the Hirer 100% of the total hire costs due to loss of business.

 

By filling in and returning this form you are legally agreeing to our terms & conditions outlined above. No hire items will be issued until this document has been returned to us.
